Multiplexed Detection of Human Papillomavirus Based on AzaBODIPY-Doped Silica-Coated Polystyrene Microparticles

Human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA detection can enable the early diagnosis of high-risk HPV types responsible for cervical cancer. is also essential investigating clinical behavior and epidemiology particular types, characterization study populations in vaccination trials monitoring efficacy vaccines. In this study, two azaBODIPY dyes (1 2) were used as references doped into polystyrene particles (PS40), while a short single strand was target molecule covalently bound to silica shell. These employed optical probes 1:1 hybridization assays, their potential applicability tool multiplex assays different strands evaluated using flow cytometry.
